We’re excited to introduce TestNavigator v1.4.0! An update designed to make everyday testing smoother, smarter, and more efficient. This release brings long-awaited usability improvements, fresh interface updates, and several behind-the-scenes enhancements to elevate your overall experience.
New features
Deployment dashboard tables
The deployment dashboard has been completely redesigned. You can now view every App- environment status, see whether modules are online, and access key deployment metadata directly from the UI – providing instant visibility across environments.
Test case create page
Build test cases faster with the all-new creation page. Inline step editing, bulk re-ordering, and real-time validation help reduce errors and streamline your workflow from start to finish.
Specification upload
Import full specification files – PDF, Markdown, or Word – and let TestNavigator automatically extract requirements and link them to existing test cases. A faster, more connected way to bridge specs and tests.
Transfer account ownership
Account owners can now easily transfer ownership to another active user in just a few clicks. Email notifications ensure a smooth and transparent transition.
Updated users’ guide
The users’ guide has been fully refreshed, covering nearly every TestNavigator feature to help you get the most out of the platform.
Bug fixes
- Profile settings & access token menus missing: Restored navigation items for consistent access.
- Avatar refresh issue: Avatars now update instantly after upload.
- Username truncation in header: Long usernames now resize or wrap gracefully.
- Artifact deletion blocked by instrumented copy: Unused artifacts can now be deleted even if an instrumented sibling exists.
- Header icon highlight stuck: UI highlighting now resets correctly after interaction.
Internal / technical improvements
Plug-in monorepo migration:
Maven and MSBuild plug-ins have been unified into a single monorepo, simplifying maintenance and accelerating CI builds.
